I totally missed this post! Amazing pics! The Heinkel is superb of course, but the Pearl Harbor-veteran (most likely) Kaga Zero in 1945 is also very interesting. Great pics, many thanks for another excellent post!

While the Tachikawa "Hickory" is not so much a strange looking Japanese aeroplane
she is quite rare and has quite a history. She carried Japanese Borneo land forces
surrender delegation to Labuan, Borneo on 10 September 1945.

The Porter in the image, she is a strange looking aeroplane, these aeroplanes are in
the Australian War Memorial storage facility.

The Rikugun Ki-93 was a prototype Japanese twin-engined fighter aircraft of the Second World War. Designed by the Army Aerotechnical Research Institute, to be a heavy fighter armed with large calibre cannon to serve in the anti-shipping or bomber destroyer roles, only one example of the Ki-93 was completed; this was damaged on its maiden flight, and destroyed by American bombing before it could be flown again.
