There are indeed 70 or 80 Bird Dogs still in Thailand but they are all MAP-supplied airframes. The problem has always been that they are not the Thai's to sell. Tango Squadron, of which I am the UK representative at the moment, has them officially on loan.

Just for the record, the Bearcat photos were taken by me at Takhli RTAFB in February 2004.

Good point Bdk, I've read the Thai acquired their Bearcats thru MAP in 1951.
