Wow. Quite a loss. Paul's work sure helped fuel my passion for warbirds.
My thoughts and prayers go out to his friends and family.

I have posted my condolences on the Flypast site.... but if you ask me (as an 'old hand') and with out taking anything away from what Scott has achieved... the community on this web site has a lot to thank Paul for, as he brought a lot of us together at the old WW Forum..

Actually an e-mail from Paul directed me to the WW forum years ago.

My deepest sympathies to his family. He was a fine man; I only knew him electronically but he always had time to answer a question or querry, or to make a constructive suggestion. He will be deeply missed.

I missed this post when it first arrived. I was shocked to hear of Paul's death. He was a good friend and supportive of this site that spawned from the demise of his wonderful magazine. He will be sorely missed. My condolences go out to his family and friends.

How very sad!

Paul was one of the first people to contact me when I first came here looking for help, and answers in early 2002. His knowledge was amazing! May God bless his family at this devastating time!
