Hi Them there engines are B-24 they were recovered from a ALASKA crash site with lots of other parts from the same crash.It was incorperated in the restoration of the Hill AFB B-24 which is now on display.Thanks Mike

Actualy that was the 2nd time, the other was we bought seats sight unseen from a guy @ oshkosh for our P-51,well the seats arrived you could put your finger thru thru them and he stated corossion free. ROFL. CASH AND CARRY!


Maybe the guy's reputation is starting to catch up with him. This would partially explain why this aircraft and other parts he's been trying to sell have not been snatched-up. The warbird community is a very small and tight-knit group. When somebody scams another a fellow warbird collector, word gets out fast!!!!

I've been fortunate so far in that the few scams I've been a victim of have been small ticket items...mainly on ebay. I'd blow my friggin top if I got scammed for that amount of money!! :evil:

Has anything become of the LB-30 in Ft. Collins Colorado? Last I recall, it was owned by Don Whittington, but that he was looking to sell the project.
