Thanks for the clarification on the X-45. I walked around the front of the B-2 and missed it. If it was a snake it would have bitten me.

Anyone seen the XC-99 there?


I went over the restoration facility this weekend to take pictures of F-4D 66-7554, 2 Mig 17 Kills. They have recieved more upper portions of the fuselage of the XC-99. Not all of it looking too great....alot of work ahead of them. Seem to be some damage around the cockpit area. Idon't know when or where it was caused. The last time I saw the XC-99 was back in 1994 down at Kelly and that was off in the distance. Still looked big even next to the C-5s

Thanks Shay, just the huge size of the XC-99 (similar to the B-36) makes it clear they have a big task ahead to restore this.
