Some Remixes

The F-86 and HU16 locations seem to be transposed. The F-100 is further southeast along the runway. I don't know what else is over there.

I was at Andrews yesterday. I didn't see a single plane on the base. I was mostly out on the perimeter and didn't get into the interior of the base.

I did, however, get to see the plane used as Air Force One practicing what appeared to be touch-and-go landings. What amazed me the most about this plane was how utterly quiet it was, especially on the "Go" part of the touch-and-goes. I've seen regular civilian 747s at much further distances and had no problems hearing their engines.

Of course, an outgoing F-16 more than made up for the lack of noise. I watched it take off and do a knife-edged 90 degree turn. Very neat stuff, certainly more exciting than the party we were playing at.

Here is the reduced version of the list...

#1: Is there a F-4 displayed at Phillips AAF at Aberdeen?

#4: Where is the Stars and Stripes Wing of the CAF located? Apparently they are in Frederick, but where?

Here are some additions to the list of questions...

#7: Is there a N3N at the USN Academy Museum in Annapolis?

#8: Is there a T-33 in Cumberland? If so where?

I have also made some other additions to the Maryland Locator...
