Doesn't seem like that area would qualify as heavily populated.
Obviously, the approach/departure routes miles away from the field have industry, businesses and habitations, I would think far less than around metro.
Are there any examples of places this craft has appeared that is less densely populated than the WR area ?

Does not matter the logic behind their call. The FAA have their reasons and that decision it is way above everyone's pay grade on this board.

Cheers,

Tom Walsh.

No need to get snooty, this is an aviation discussion board and some are here to discuss.
It doesn't matter if it matters, and no I wasn't thinking of starting a petition to the FAA - Inquiring minds want to know !

Notice the timing of the announcement of the ME262 getting pulled? I wouldn't be surprised if that Hawker Hunter crash in UK has something to do with this FAA knee jerk reaction? I wouldn't be surprised if any jet warbirds now operating under experimental exhibition class are getting this had the F-100 been there this year too.

Well it is technically a CASA 352 hehe

This is the former Commemorative Air Force One. It hasn't been to Thunder since 2006

The switch from the ME-262 to the Spitfire was made long before the Shoreham crash.

You know it's not. You've been commenting the last couple pages back when the 262 was pulled....weeks before the Hawker Hunter crash! :|

The Aircraft List has been updated on the web site with the Ju-52, Spitfire, etc. AND the Jack Roush P-51B "Old Crow" is back on the list!

http://yankeeairmuseum.org/airshow/aircraft-list/

Should be a great show.

The German C-160 is missing now and the Huey and Cobra have been added. And they cloned the Yankee Doodle Dandy...

TWO Dandys!

Didn't notice about the C160 - wonder it that is just a slip up or if it's now not coming. Not a big deal one way or the other since it's been at Thunder before and it's not flying in the show, but it is an interesting aircraft.

I'll post this over here too:

So a quick question for the locals. Is construction completed and is the cement factory gone yet? Any clue if the Blues will be going back to the old show center vs the terrible show center the T-Birds did last year? Lastly, what happened to Balta Airlines, haven't heard mention of them. Website is still up but nothing new listed.

Also noticed there is no more mention of the EA-6B that was supposed to be on static. Did it cancel as well?? of and P-51 Aint Misbehavin is also off the lsit. I fell like there is still a lot not listed, or a lot of planes have canceled

The cement plant is gone and construction for the moment is finished. As to the Blues show profile, I assume it will be just as dynamic as were their previous performances at Thunder.

Cheers,

Tom Walsh.
