Randy - what did you do you initial AF training in?

And there is NOTHING weak about driving a -172. Kinda reminds me about that old adage about the Piper Cub being the world's safest airplane because it would just barely kill you! :)

I'm a graduate of the mighty T-37 Tweet! What an incredibly fun airplane.

I initially soloed for my FAA ticket in a C-150.

Well, I soloed in a Tomahawk! You can rent a Stearman in Chino (and probably elsewhere). Great introduction to taildraggers.

Used to be able to. Not sure about the present status although I believe they still give instruction.
