That flier looks familiar, I think I have one lost in my collection also somewhere. And now that I think of it, I believe I also have a pin from that event also. Still even have the T-shirt, although I've just about outgrown it.

The twin Beech with the diagonal red stripes was flown by my friends, and I later got to use it quite a few times for air to air work.

I will have to dig into my photos but I beleive that my grandfathers BT-13 was the only one that made it over the statue of liberty that day due to weather they dropped roses out the cockpit in honor of those who had fallen.

Were you talking about our T-6 being replaced? If so, the bird we had on Fredom Flight was the replacement for our first downed T-6. Our first went down months before the event so we had to scramble to find a new one. We found one right out of restoration, but it was a god-awful yellow and had no unit markings, so we had to put decals on it to make her look like a warbird. Those decals lasted almost 10 years, until we finally repainted her. Heres what she looks like now:

What weather ? the final day of Freedom Flight was perfect, not a cloud around, look at the pictures I posted earlier. The only bad thing about that day was trying to follow a flight plan that was drafted by the FAA. They thought we would affect too many airports enroute to NYC from Andrews, so they gave a flight plan to follow. It seems we were constantly climbing, desending, or turning. I was faster on the GPS than Carl was, so I did the navigating for our flight.

There were at least 4 BTs at Andrews, I saw them enroute from Dayton, We were at 13,500 trying to get above the cloud deck and they were up there with us, how they got up there with a 985 in beyond me.

I am not sure what day it was, but I remember Janet telling me that they were the only ones that day in a BT-13 ( I think only aircraft ) to go over that day....which day, I am not sure of. Did you fly with Janet McCullough and Glen Shaly during that flight in a BT-13 out of Kansas?
