I will have to look when I get home, maybe that was a TF, that I took the pic of.

I counted 76 but... that was with pictures. I figure I most likely missed a few as they were being moved around so much and there was so much going on all over the grounds. And I missed Saturdays show (but got kicked out Friday and was there when the sun came up Sunday).

I do look forward to an count and list being give my Stallion 51.

Anyway I look at it, I can't complain about the turn out. IT WAS GREAT!

They took the photos with the pilot and anyone he wanted in the shot, such as the crew, original pilots and vets, family members etc.

I have not found it in my pictures. I have SCAT VII, no VI

Heres a link to my Nose Art Pics. The only one missing out of these were, Excalibur and the G model parts. There are a few "Others" that I will load later.

Mr Maxwell says :

" If they "saw" Scat Vl, it was flown by Robin Olds who came back to visit. I had had a coolant problem and decided not to push my luck. "

(I should know by now to trust my daughter when she's 'in charge')

Therefore, the final, OFFICIAL count of mustangs...

76 flying airframes, one project.

What a wonderful, politically correct program! :x

What a piece of key-wrap :(

OK. Must have been suffering from stress! 'VI' must have been 'VII'.

I don't see 'Stang Evil' or 'Crusader' on the list anywhere, both of our Colorado based P-51's, and I know I saw them in photos earlier...

I didn't see either of them there.

Fri Oct 05, 2007 11:48 am

Nor did I

Where did you see these photos of Crusader? I didn't see any, that's why I was bringing it up in another topic. Joe's 421 made it apparently, but no one can provide evidence that Crusader followed.

Fri Oct 05, 2007 1:06 pm

I agree. I don't believe either Stang Evil or Crusader was in attendance at the GML.
