There is a membership to buy, but I've paid more for less. Check the Yankee web site for details, while you’re there check out the photo gallery. On the home page, box on the right titled links. That is where the PB4Y-2 photos will get posted. www.yankeeairmuseum.org Thanks Joe

I cannot help but feel lines are crossed here
1.Yankee Air Museum, Detroit-Willow Run (did they move to the old Zantop hangar?)
2.Yanks Air Museum, Chino, Los Angeles
ref
1- acft at the museum, work in progress
2- acft not yet at museum but probably still in Greybull
right?

I'm really glad to see that the airframe is getting a lot of love! It was great to see a PB4Y on display but with the love it is getting it should be a first class display piece.

I think I like the idea of the Dark Blue paint job. It will make it different than the others on display.

Tim

Yankee, not Yanks.

Here's the direct link. Looking good!

What's the difference between a Mariner and a Privateer?

one has 4 engines, a single tail and does not float,
the other has twin tails, twin engines, and floats, other than that not much , other than different manufacturers.

So the photo gallery is named incorrectly then. I thought that was a bit odd...
