Nothing is missing, now, from the P-39. Those shots were taken before the wings were "branded" on the doors!

Thought I would add a few more photos after those tight formation pairs. Anyway, there is one pic of Karen in her push-me pull-you. I can't take credit for the airborne action shots.... remember me talking about my 13 year old side-kick Matt, he took these shots with my Sony camera. Enjoy! Alan

The Wildcat is possibly the only plane in the fleet that the branding decal would make look better!

Obergofarter... you are KILLING ME!!!

thanks, I ws short of larfs this morning.

But other than the shiny part of the paint, I kinda like the tribute to Fleet Air Arm Martletts.
That being said, the Wildcat (FM-2) I hope to own someday will be a (totally incorrect) tribute to Thach or Swede Vijtasa or some EARLY Cactus Airforce pilot. And I would like it to be turd muckledy faded out blue... but mechanically as pretty as a Nelson Ezell no bucks spared resto.

Fade to black with music swelling louder... TO DREAM... THE IMPOSSIBLE DREAM...
