About all I can add is the photo was taken at OSH 1972

G'day wacoykc - dates and locations on these most interesting photos as you go would be great - you know you'll be grateful later if you try and sort it now!

T J - Thanks for IDing Berlin Express. The N number in the caption didn't correspond to the Directory, got me confused. Must not be a Widow radome nose cone, and the tail must have been a civilian mod as opposed to a C/D tailcone. Interesting that its an H model. Thanks again.

I've never seen or hear of Tootsie before. Is she still around? The registry stops at 2002.

As far as I am aware Ted still owns Tootsie. It is named after his wife whom he calls Tootsie. I don't think they do a lot of airshows anymore. They have been very active in the past beign present at Air Apache and Dollittle Raider reunions for the veterans to be up close nad personal with their ol bombers.

First, thanks Waco, Rich, Holedigger and Noisee for these great photos.

Wacoykc, do you have any more info on that first Billy (Berlin Express); it looks like an early model due to the tailcone. It also looks like it has a P-61 nose cone! I couldn't locate it in the Warbird directory. Thanks for anything you can add.

N10V B-25H Reported operated by Porfirio Rubirosa 8) . It was, and it was also supposedly given to him by Barbara Hutton. Rubirosa used the aircraft during his courtship with ZaZa Gabor. 8)

Does anyone have or seen photo's of when John Marshall buzzed the Florida Gators football game in I believe 1985 with "Carol Jean"... I was told it was the flight when he was on his way to Dulles International after donating the airplane... I've never seen the footage, but I heard the camera's at the top of the stadium filmed the tops of the wings !!!
This occured many years before the endzones got built up to what they are now...

Sorry for dredging up an old thread, but here is some video of the B-25 buzzing the stadium-

Seeing the old photos and various paint schemes reminds me why I like B-25s in the warbird community.
They"re relatively common enough and relatively cheap enough you had a interesting group of owners/operators and markings.

Long may that continue.
