Well said, still I kinda have dreams that our lowly little museum in Stratford will grow up to become a "World Class" museum one day. And if not, than at least a really cool museum. Maybe with a flyable detachment across the street located in Kaolian's hangar.

I've always thought the best idea for the grounds for Geneseo would be to recreate a WWII bomber base. The setting is just so ideal for it. To start off all you'd have to do is paint the large metal hangar in green or camo.

I was really hoping to help out on the future plans for the museum and push for a WWII feel but an infant son and very busy summer put me outside the loop for the time being.

Mudge the reminiscent :D

Funny you should mention that, cause that is part of our "long range" plan. We hope to build a WWII style Control Tower and Hangar within the next 10 years or so. We have been pretty busy on the planning committee, discussing all these things. Once we are done cleaning house, we will be on our way! 8)

I'm one of those who believe that less is more.
You don't have to have everything, but you've got to have something unique.

At Geneseo, if they built buildings and displays in vintage looking hangars, Quonset huts and a control tower, all you would need is a P-51 and a B-17 and you pretty much have enough for a draw! Some trainers and other aircraft should be included to help tell the story and they are less expensive to maintain in flying condition.

Can resist here, support the '41 Fighter Fund and that'll help get the P-51 here
