What a ludicrous thread...a sensational heading of a Spitfire prop on
Morotai..endless speculation as to an artifacts origins and ID. Spend all
that money and time to go there..and this is all that is offered as bounty!!
The time could have been better spent on teaching the "2 Lieutenants" on
instruction of the use of a tape measure and relaying that info by phone or
computer. Or are they being "saved" for the really big stuff..a piece of
gnarley corroded cowling..rusted tubing ID...or encouraging the "money-
spender" to come back because they "think" you'll be interested in what
they have found? Thhwwppptttt!!! Some aces are represented by their
"kills", and some by the amount of times they "post words of nothing"..
Sorry!!! Seinfeld was already there!!! :finga:

looking at the hub, it is a Curtiss Electric, either a C-46 or SB2C, my bet is Helldiver

'29gunner, Ahhh the legendary FARGIN feed rollers, glad you got 'em!!
Did ForgottenF find'em? What's next on the list?

Glad you had a laugh, I was having a bit of tongue in cheek at the pups
expense..and it twas a bit of rib to SteveP.

The Curtiss Electric example you provided, leads me to believe "you ain't
in Georgia anymore Toto!" or, somewhere in Georga is a really authentic
desert garden! Well now that the prop-thang is solved, we can discuss the
wingtip until his next trip! 1 year 10 months to go!

Crap..I just realized Chris deleted his comments...aw c'mon Harvard!!
I thought by our resultant tete-a-tete you took it as fun? I didn't mean
to anger or embarass you!

For pennance I will spin the Wheel Of Punishment!!
Whirrrrrrrr...cli..cli..cli..cli...clic...clic......clic.......click......click!
GASP!!
OH CRAP!!!
The Wheel says that, I "must proceed to the nearest aviation tech-school
where a Cessna 150 is being assembled from a pile of corroded bent parts
and then proceed to test fly it over the gator& snake infested swamps of
Louisiana to land in Shreveport"

THE WHEEL HAS SPOKEN !!

CRAP! CRAP! CRAP! I hate the 150!!! I woulda' had a chance in a Cub!
This is gonna leave a mark!!!

Yes, FINALLY found me a pair! Talk about a pain in the tushy, I shoulda collected coins instead  Shoot me an e-mail, and I'll send ya a pic of them.

John (FF) didn't find these, in fact last time I heard from John he was playing with some B-25 MLG actuators...I think one might have hit him in the head, as I haven't heard from him since! Carl (aero trader) came through in a big way w/ these rollers, turns out they were sitting out in the desert all along!

Good eyes on the prop blade, but it isn't mine. That's some guy who is trying to sell those things for 2K a pop! But I think I know where he's getting them, and they're no where near 2K!
