ME-262 Headed to Virginia Beach

What Im more concerned about is a 262 operating off a grass strip.

I thought about that too when I first saw the thread, but I'm sure more than one 262 flew off grass during the war.

I believe the prototype with the tail wheels made it's first flights off grass. I wouldn't be surprised if they operated in combat off grass.
