that thing is d.o.a. & belongs to tallichett (i'm a poet & didn't even know it nyukk nyukk) the corrosion is so bad you could crunch her like a beer can, she's not a hangar queen, but a hangar corpse, even though she's out doors at maps. she will still make an asthetically pleasing & accurate display to the eaterie's decor if cosmetically done right. any local wixers wanna meet up for some vittles & brewskies 1 night?? dutch treat of course!! pm me or let me know on the thread. we'll give the place the most thorough scrutinization as to the grub, decor, service etc. regards, tom

When you touch the wing, rust falls off in your hand. I doubt that is will get a cosmic overhall. I think it will just be carted off and placed up there.

Coming home into Reno Sunday afternoon saw a well weathered, disassembled Martin B-57 tied to a couple of trailers sitting at Boomtown. By Monday when I went to look again it had moved on.
Anybody know it's story?
It looked like an ex gate guard or similiar, at least by it's condition, and was in USAF markings.

I'm located in Orlando... on Friday I saw in the distance a biplane of some sort flying around. It was too far away to identify though. It had a beefy sounding engine and it looked bigger than a stearman. Let me know if anyone has any idea who and what it was.

Also, heard a radial headed south yesterday, but by the time I saw it it was too far to tell what it was. Looked low-wing... anyone? anyone?

I think Walt is right, there is a Banner towing, agriculture type plane that buzzes around Altamonte from ORL, usually Thrusday-Saturday promoting some bar. :)

There's a polished DC-3 that flys around Orlando, I heard it one day and she came around up my way (Altamonte Springs) and flew right over my street about +/- 200 ft. I could clearly see "DELTA AIRLINES" painted on the bottom. She sure was pretty & sounded sweet!

I was at the Heritage show last year too. 8)
