Yep that was me in the back. Interesting view of Connies place! Guns for Hire was the other A-26 there, and it looks like the Invader group will get the old Spirit of Waco going shortly.

First, I"d like to thank Brad and his family for bringing down the engine mount that I purchased from Gary's estate. I surely do appreciate it. By the way, Beautiful C-17 ya got there Brad. Would have loved to seen the demo flight. Even though the number of planes was down due to the fuel situation and some confusion on whether or not you had to be invited to attend, it was still a pretty decent show. The weather was absolutely perfect. I had to drive back to Arizona on Sunday morning so these pics are from Saturday.

I'd sure like to see Garys name listed as the tailgunner since he put so much work into this part of the plane

I've never seen FIFI look better. Great job to everyone who pitched in.

I was not aware there was another poon flying besides "Hot Stuff" I'm thrilled to see another in the air and more to come after some restoration.

Looks like an incredible aircraft! Here's hoping that it can make Thunder Over Michigan.

PLUS: Great news on the A-26 there can never be enough of those flying. Rides to boot!

Tim
