I reckon no flames are too hot when you're pulling your wife out of the fire. Prayers and all best wishes for a brave man as he deals with all his agonies.

One More Roll

"We toast our hearty comrade, now fallen from the sky,

Were gently caught by God’s own hand to reign with him on high.

To dwell among the soaring clouds they knew so well before,

From Victory Roll to Tailchase at heaven’s very door.

Now, as we fly among them there, we sadly hear their plea,

Take care, my friend,

Watch your Six…

And do one more roll for me."

I just have to ask how that can happen to such a sweet young gal with a wonderful
life ahead of her when there is so much evil roaming this planet..............................

I've often heard that God is like a farmer. When it's time to harvest, you pick your best first.

Last year at Oshkosh, my dad had a ramp pass for his car and we stopped at the EAA WEEKS hangar for him to go inside for something. The airshow performers keep their aircraft in this hangar during the show and it's closed to the public. I really love the pirate themed act with the black WACO and it was parked on the side and Kyle and Amanda had their rental car pulled up behind the plane and were getting their stuff out for work.
Up close they seemed attractive and young. He began quietly doing his walk around, inspections, really looking the aircraft over with intense detail. She was even prettier than in the photos, lady like and she was putting the capes, swords , etc. into the cockpits and doing her tasks. No talk, the two soulmates just quietly going about their business. It was inspiring to watch them for a moment.
Those two had lost their dads and now Kyle and family members have lost their Amanda. This loss is too much for the two great families. Hopefully they can find solace somehow.

From Kyle's FB page... I personally would like to see a sky filled with planes in her honour...

Anyone associated with the Airshow or Warbird community who would like to participate in a mass fly over at Amanda's grave site service is invited to do so. Qualifications are you must hold a S.A.C card or F.A.S.T card or be pre approved by the families. Services are tentatively being planned for Monday June 6, Tuesday June 7 or Wednesday June 8 in Fayetteville, AR . Contact Matt Younkin at 479-283-1288 or email to Younkinair@aol.com for more info.
