Good day!
Tks for the nice pic & data! I will write the Malstrom AFB, MT folks/Museum to enquire about it. Was a P-63 ever display at that base?
p.s FAA Records still show AAF 43-11734 being Cx by Bell c. June 1953. Will follow-up on that wing N11734! Tks

That may be part of the serial, not an N number - sometimes they would be carried on the wing as well as the tail (I think this was a stateside thing for trainers?).

About a year or so I removed the P-63 from it's storage container and put it in a hanger. I don' remember any wing markings. I'll check my photos.

Plz do! Will the previous owner has pics of this double cabin sample as found? same thing with the wings? What really happened to this aircraft? It was airworthy up to c. June 1946, it was sold Cx by Bell c. June,1953 & then re-appeared at Palmdale, Calif c. 1960s.
p.s It was also one of the storage collection samples of the late Bill Ross of Chicago, c. 1970s. IL. If you know more details of its previous days plz post. Tks

Tks for the info/data. What S/Ns are the wings showing for your sample?
The previous pic is a P-63 composite type. On the V/S you can still see N41964 reg letters. Tks

The lower right wing has been re-skinned. When I un-packed the a/c from its storage container, I did not notice any registration on the wing panels. The left wing panel had some sheet metal work done on the top.
