Thanks DZ!!! Those pics were taken Saturday. Grant Lannon was at the controls (notice my right hand on the glare shield?). Sunday was my turn to fly the demo. My first in the B-25! It was a blast, especially the "Pop-Up" for the Doolittle act.

The Dog had Ron Dietes in the left seat, flying the show on Saturday. Mark was at the controls Sunday. I guess Mother's Day was also B-25 Copilot's Day!

And last, but not least, thanks for the Biblical Burning Bush shot!

A few from Saturday. JMC

A really super nice guy flying this one. Apparently he was from the local area. He said he was going to do a few low passes when he departed Sunday, but I had to leave before he did. But he still probably made it back to California before I finished the drive to Decatur!

Yes, the pilot was only 22 years old. But I could tell he took it all very seriously, and I think he has a long future ahead of him with aviation.

Another couple of really nice guys flying this from Milton Field in the Florida Panhandle. Unfortunately they had to leave early Sunday morning, right when I finally got the T-28 parked next to them. Well, at least it looked good for a little while.

That biblical burning bush was the best thing that I've seen at an airshow in a long time!
Very nice to meet so many Wixers at this show!

I agree, it's the best pyro show I've ever seen! Especially from the air!

Like I said there, a load of water balloons would have done wonders...

If only we had known, we would have loaded the bomb bay of the Yellow Rose with those water balloons~

The fires burned to the left - downwind, far into the green wooded areas.
