It's clowns like you driving Warbird owners away from the forum.

I'd think the bigger problem would be people apparently unable to identify their own aircraft?

The paintwork doesn't match, the N number doesn't match, one of the aircraft ended up in a hole minus a wing & the other didn't. If I owned a P51 I think I'd be fairly certain if it was dug out of a hole in the middle of Palmdale at some point. However, we only have your word about this, not the actual owner.

WorryBird is 44-73287.

The one that dug the hole was 44-74950... that serial number ended up here:

Well upon further reflection, I'm done with this board. It only takes one a$$clown to make this board look like a bunch of fools. If anybody still would like to see my Warbird photos or Reno air race stuff just click the link. I'll PM anybody if I need to ask a question. Hopefully that person will have more brains and common sense than this idiot and keep it in PM's.

Later guys and gals,

Tim Adams

Tim,

If you decide to check back in, please stay. Oh, and if you don't like something, check in with us mods to see if we can ease the situation a bit. Up and leaving and letting one forum member's actions discourage you doesn't help the warbird community in general. This place is as good or as bad as the individual members make it.

I'm getting repeated msgs from another user on this forum claiming the plane in the magazine picture is the current Worry Bird.. despite different paint schemes & different registrations. He's also claiming that whoever owns WorryBird is also claiming this is his aircraft, but is afraid to post on the forum owing to the way it's run or some such bullcrap...

At this point I think he's a frigging troll.

ZRX61,

It was not very diplomatic or helpful to quote someone's PM and call them a troll at the same time. Please consider how your actions have affected the forum in this thread. We are trying to restore confidence in this forum amongst various groups. It also probably violates the forum code regarding personal attacks.

I'm leaving this here as a reminder, then will clean up the thread tomorrow morning. I don't have time to do it tonight.

Thanks,
