Sad to say thats pretty much how she looked before the storm! Probably a little worse now! We at the Connecticut Air & Space Center
(Across the road in part of the former Vought - Sikorsky / Textron / Avco / Lycoming Factory) are working with the Sikorsky Memorial Airport to restore this original 1929 hangar to eventually house the FG-1D Corsair we've been working on as well at the airport. While were only in the planning stages of this project, we hope to begin the preliminary stages of fundraising soon. When finished, she'll not only be an interactive center about the Corsair, but probably house some of our own aircraft collection once some of our planes come out of restoration themselves. Obiviously we have a long way to go, so were always on the lookout for anyone that would be willing to donate time or money to help this cause.
