I really enjoyed the museum. There was a little bit of a disjoint, when viewing, then it would occur to me, "Oh yeah, they have a lot of aircraft on the Mall, in restoration, in storage, and loaned out." Some of the aircraft have faded in importance. "Conquest I" the Bearcat doesn't do anything for me as all it's records have been eclipsed. Some of the aircraft like a Bonanza and an Aztec didn't seem too important. I'd rather have seen the prototypes. They still have space for over 120 aircraft and my hope is that someday they will have a wing, like the space exhibit, for the flying wings, Vought flapjack and other aerodynamic oddities. Some, like the flying wings were so far ahead of their time, we still don't have many examples flying today.
