This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

I found WIX though the Resister when I was googling some information on an aircraft. I had stumbled on the WIX a few times before but was not ready to get sucked in.

I came through the Warbirds World Wide forum as well. I was so sad when that folded, as it was finally a place to find other people out there who had the same interests. THANKS Scott so much for making this place a welcome home to all our fellow enthusiasts. There really is no better place for finding out the latest scoops on what's going on, nor a better place to find historical information that is so hard to find in any other venue. Keep up the great work!

Cheers. Richard

I don't remember how I got here the first time, but I come here about every day now. I stumbled across it somehow, probably through google or a search on Joe Baugher's site.

When I was a kid and was going to air shows or museums I learned to look for guys hanging around a plane, pointing at stuff and talking about it. Ignore the people taking pictures; listen to the guys doing the talking. They flew it or worked on it or built it.

Since I don't fly, work on them, or build them, I have to be content with just listening in, and that's what I like about this place.

Little voices inside my head told me.

Oh wait, that was how I discovered where I came from.

Never mind.

Shhh! Could you guys keep it down, please (he says to self)!
