This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

I'm right behind you...
Sorry the weather scrubbed your trip to Popham with Mike J. Sounded like a fun way to spend a Sunday. Sitting in the hanger with Melv...slagging people off...drinking tea...watching it rain...
Well, that about covers it for excitement at the Royal and Ancient Rearwin Museum at Popham. Now, if only the airplanes actually FLEW. Well, that would be something.

'ere Robbo, where did you get that photo of my very dear friend Shaun?
And do you mean Kensal Green? More like me to make that sort of error. Perhaps a short hop then to Paddington?

Protest! It's foggy. There is nothing clear about that. It's nullified. If only because I did not see you post before I responded myself.

No, I hopped onto the national rail network for a turn.

Andy: Sorry no fiver - I'd rather you told what you knew. Quite frankly, I think it is a fault in the system which will be just a bit embarrassing for them. The guy who banned me appears to look after the Bowling forum too! Perhaps I should join that! Lets all join!

Janie
seriously I can't believe you did that and only got banned for seven days.
Let's face it in certain southern States you can still be tarred and feathered for an act like the one you perpetrated.
You know what Southern Baptists can be like.
Strangely though it was never on the statute books as a crime in Western Australia--then again nor was raping an Aboriginal woman, so that's probably not a good yardstick to use.
I really think five quid is a small price to pay for my silence.
and it's Beff'nal Green.

Don't be so hard on Janie, Andy - she was only protecting you after all.

Janie..banned ??? Well, I had a feeling this was to happen! First, her
unbridled exclamation of Sex+Airplanes+Rock&Roll was tempting the
wrath of the puritan moderator. But when THAT "lacivious image" of her
slender booted feet reflecting from the polished spinner of the
Staggerwing was posted!...well!!..sensible borders had been crossed!!
Perhaps she was banned due to the moderators personal embarrasment!
Obviously a misplaced retaliation!!!

Andy. I've only got two pounds fifty pence left, if I send that to you, will you promise to only tell half the people what you know about us?
I've just posted on the Keypublishing Bowling forum! I guess I'll get a similar response there.
And I have named Melv's baby the RHC-1. The Reawin-Hiscock Cloudster 1.
Robbo: Avtar saved, shrunk and uploaded, but bars disappeared! Any ideas? Am I freed? Melv gets the credit for the avtar. Robbo gets the credit for adding the bars (or baaa-s). And it's Shauna the Ewe from the Isle of Ewe.

Janie, try either of these two:
or perhaps some lighter bars:

Just about one month to go, before the Rearwin test flight. Of course, Mr. Hiscock is trying to get his paperwork in order for the CAA, so we'll see how it goes.
See how quiet it gets here when the Brits go to sleep!

I'm not sure when the first flight will be, but if it hasn't flown by the time I get to Popham...well, you'll just have to wait and see.

OK, I see they're early risers in Croyden...
On the other hand Kansas City is off to bed. Try not to break the WIX forum, it's all we've got lads.
