nope thats not right. The fighter will be hangared at MaxAlpha Aviation, but the owner is a private owner and warbird enthusiast.

The P-51D N51AB , will say the "Ex-FlyingDutchman" got its new livery. Achim Meier did some testflights with that wonderful fighters and he was quite impressed. A fantastic well balanced fighter. Not long and the P-51 will be ferried to the new owner in Germany .... hope I can accompany Achim on the back seat

Matthias, that is gorgeous.

Just imagine this fury sitting beside the flying nightmare. That would look amazing!

Even better would be an air to air photo shoot!

First rollout and first taxiing tests with the restored Messerschmitt Bf109 G-6 "Black8" on 23th December 2015 - thats what we call a Christmas gift :-)

.... a loud one - the owner travelled to South Germany from the island Usedom to watch that magic moment at MeierMotors and I think he was very very happy

well some months later .... time for updates I think

At first lets talk about those Messerschmitt fighters - the "Black 1" went over der grand pont to Gerald Yagen´s Fighter Factory. She has not been flown yet, I think they are doing some conversions at the cirquit breakers to American style. The "Black 8" needs some work with the wings and undercarriage.

The G-12, belonging to the same collector - Hangar 10 on the island Usedom - is showing a good progress. Bodywork is done, now the team is adjusting all those wirings and tubes using the engine of "Black 8" as dummyengine. Oleg Ivlev is doing a fantastic job with that "trainer" ..... trainer, funny word dealing with a one-o-nine

and of course the magnificent Bf109 E 6.88 - some work with the fuselage is done

Besides the big restoration project, work is going on with maintenance jobs. So the beautiful Yak-3 D-FYGJ is getting her annual and some maintenance at the Allison engine. So I had again the chance for some nice insights in that beautiful engine

That Mustang got a new livery and is now 4sale - hope she will get a good home again. The wartime bird was flown by 1.Lt.Wilbur Eaton with 4thFG
