So my point is that David's Belle nose art is different so it would not violate the copy write.

I don't know about copy
right (I doubt it) but that group did have trademarks on the nose art. They have been transferred to NMUSAF, probably at the same time as the aircraft. Trademarks are different than copyrights in some important relevant ways.
