I hve a twofold reply today. My first airplane ride: late fifities riding with Mom to see grandparents on a DC or Connie. Kind of fuzzy. First jet ride: flying to Boy Scout Jamoboree in Idaho in '67 on a 727. Flew the Pacific in a stretch DC-8 yuk! in 1971. More recently, travelling in DC-10 to the UK, more 737's than I can count plus a few Airbus products and one crowded 757 full of grumpy afternoon commuters who didn't like the pilot that day.
About 1980, a ride from Houston to Austin in a Piper single of some sort. Comfortable but noisy.
My first warbird ride will be April 20 when I fly on LSFM's Thunderbird B-17 to Barksdale AFB for an airshow.
Part II. A friend wants to ride in a Mustang. How many two seaters are out there that sell rides?

My first airplane ride was a Piper Cub in the early 60's... my first warbird ride was an L-19A not too long after. My first secret military jet, I'm told I witnessed(heard in me Mums arms) was a Convair Sea Dart in San Diego Harbor while my dad was taking a pic of my mom..the SP's confiscated the film.. My first jet ride was a 747 in 1974 heading for Navy boot in Feb 1974....
My first warbird airshow was with CAF in about '63 at Grand Prairie, Tx. NOLF
