Lighten up and get out of your office cube.. Your going to blow

They don't hate America, they don't blame allied airpower during the war, they simply are afraid of what they used to see in the air by the hundreds when they were children. But they also know that the loss of their parents helped to give them the life they have now. And the life we all have now. So I guess I can understand how a B-17 could scare the heck out of them. Poor folks. See .... who can tell me WAR doesn't SUCK!

They need to go to the airport and look at the plane.. It's like petting the pony after it throws you off.

Hmm I guess if you go around asking then yes you will get an opinion in Europe. I just got back from Germany for a week and my German isn't what it used to be. Not one person mentioned Bush or the war to me nor was any anger or resentment directed to me because I'm american. I enjoyed my week away, because I didn't pick up one newspaper or watch tv. I don't wear clothing that indicates where I'm from either, but that's just the way I travel: as safe as possible.

Nope, didn't ask .... Nope, didn't buy a newspaper there, just took a few from the US with me, ... and let's see ... Nope, didn't wear a "I'm an American" T-shirt. So I guess I was safe as well.

Just in case anyone was wondering, this is right out with me....for further info see "Anorak Question" thread. Before you S/N geeks get all up in arms, I am just joking, based on all the crap thr thread generated before. I have got to go now, I still have many serial numbers to file of of the Skyraider.

You know, for a number of years I felt the same way about Jets. But I have really been giving a lot of consideration to getting a T33. Ever since I saw a picture on here of a polished T33 with tip tanks, I have been having these bad thoughts. Therapy or a T33? Maybe both.

Jets are for kids... and they smell funny

When I was a kid, I used to think the same thing about women... :D
