Even on this forum I disagree with Hairy. :P
While the Corsair is a beautiful airplane, I vote for an aircraft that was used in all theaters of WWII. My vote would be for a 3/4 shot of a flying P-38 but I can live with a P-51. (How magnanimous, huh :?: )
I'd also reverse the outer ring of the patch....ie. red letters on white background. I think the white would act as a buffer between the red and the green/blue of the body. A bit less "glare" so to speak. I'd go for patch and/or pin but no t-shirt. I don't do t-shirts. On the other hand, a nice polo shirt would be cool.

Funny you should suggest the reverse border since I was thinking about doing just that Except have a thin border surrounding the patch, then a thick white ring where the red text will be then the center. This also facilitates pins.

As for shirts, T-shirts are already available. Any embroidered shirts would be polo/golf type shirts.

I'll see about mocking up some logos this weekend with a P-51, P-38, and Corsair and then have a final vote :)
