Best I remember, yes that is the only scene. In either War and Rememberance or Winds of War, there is a scene of a plane coming in for landing. I'm 99.999% sure that it is footage from Hindenburg.

Sorry to resurrect and old thread..somehow I missed this one.

As the Buchon in Condor Legion markings taxis up in "The Hindenburg," another 109 can be seen being worked on in the hangar in the background. I'd have to dig out my VHS dub of the film, but I think it's the POF's Bf109G-10..IIRC it had the tall wooden tail (as well as WWII Eastern Front JG 54 "Greenhearts" markings..but as it's just background dressing for a quick scene, it's no big deal.)
