Noozeedave We're getting ready to paint our C-47, so if you got too much we can take it off of your hands. Seriously do you know how many gallons per coat it takes? As expenive as it is don't need to buy too much. What type paint are you all going to use, polyurathane or what? If PPG has to much we will gladly take on a few gallons. By the way build a HANGAR to put your plane in, not a HANGER to hang your clothes on.

Good deal. Have you posted other details about this here before?

Thank you Randy. I did post a thread about the toy drive at the beginning of December.

http://warbirdinformationexchange.org/p ... highlight=

The toy drive was a huge success and people are looking forward to doing it again next year. The Burbank Fire Dept. told me they were expecting half as many donations this year but twice as many requests for toys.
We did make a difference. I had one couple donate 3 new youth bicycles. My client told me he remembered the feeling of getting his first bicycle for Christmas and wanted some kids to experience that same joy. Some of my celebrity friends really stepped up and were very generous including my favorite stewardess who you all know as the one who re-inflates BDK's avatar.

In the photo below of the firemen and our horses you can see the collection box. We had three boxes stuffed and enough more toys to probably fill a half dozen more. We sent the fire dept. stakebed truck out of there half loaded.

Thanks for the details. I didn't see the earlier post, but I have to say that is a very cool thing to do. I have to agree that would be a very satisfying way to spend (pre) Christmas!

Following on from my earlier post, I now have a pic of my *sporterized* .303 Enfield....

AND!! just this morning I managed to snag a 1918 BSA built Enfield .303 that owing to me being in California is going to probably require TWO 400 mile round trips to get home..

I got to remember that it was 30 years ago on Christmas Eve that I proposed to my wife. And got to spend Christmas day with all 4 kids, 3 spouses, 1 granddaughter and our dog
