All pilots get called 'Biggles' in the (British) meeja.

Another vote for James Bigglesworth, operational fighter pilot in W.W.I and II, in between, and flying to defeat villains until the 70s.

I thought Mr Bigglesworth was Dr. Evil's bald cat. I never stop learning.
