This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

I loved the approach, I think it was one of the best I've seen.

to add as friend hit the person's profile button and then look under their pic/avatar once it goes to that person's profile page. you can add as friend or foe.

I wasn't able to make it. Looks like I missed a great event. Thanks to all the folks who helped make it happen. Good job, stand tall, and pat yourself on your back.

That is a great looking shirt! But don't forget that warbird kid has a great looking shirt too that he designed and sold at the Corsairs over Connecticut event 2010. I bought one and it's nice

Hi Chris,
I have come with an idea for raising money for the Corsair on the pole. From my personal collection i have a framed piece of history. I have maybe 6-10 autographs of vmf-214 black sheep pilots surrounding a Corsair photo. I would like to put that up for a live auction in front of all the volunteers on a special Saturday. Anybody thats there can bid. Anybody can win it for their home. All the money that is made from this i will hand right over to the foundation. I want to show in good faith that i want to help out in any way possible to restore this bird. Can you help me out with this as i believe you already know the guys there? Thanks,
Frank

Frank,
Thanks for the kind words. And as far as your silent auction idea goes I love it! Your enthusiasm and desire to helping is most appreciated. I think we might even want to take that idea to the next level. Set up a day where we rent out a VFW hall and try and find some other noteworthy items to auction off as well. Ill talk to you more in depth about this soon.
