Ok So Gonna work on the wing figured out Root Chord 8 ft 7" and Tip Chord 5 ft 1 1/8" Dihedral 3 deg 6 mins 50 secs (Wing Ref Line)
Now Trying to Figure out
1: Washout at the tip
2: when they are mentioning root chord are they talking the imaginary chord if the wing outlines were projected to the centerline or where the wing exits the Fuselage?
Can anyone help here us Modellers use centerline but i dunno if thats correct

Well trying to figure out at least some of sheet 7155002 Fuselage Bulkhead Sta 2 so I can locate parts for wing and also for the Main LG. Seems like a good number of dimensions are taken off one piece but I cannot seem to find a dimension to where it is located from the Fuse Centerline
Due to the degraded Image I have of the sheet some numbers are hard to read but can beworked around Hoever the one thats marked in orange needs to be correct for everything else to fall into place

Well off for 2 days so lot of drawing. am waiting on a response for the above dimension so today I will do some easy drawings and draw up sta 17 on the Avenger which is all the instrument panes etc I found drawings last night and seem to have found all the dims etc so hopefully shouldnt have a problem with this. I think I am jumping into this plane drawing too fast before I understand how to find the sheets I need. Like there are drawing sheets for the wildcat that start with SA and go something like SAXXXN where the X represents part numbers. I looked all over aircorps Library and cant seem to find them so while waiting on the Drawings to arrive to me and hope they are in those drawings I will try to work on known stuff. I know there are a ton of parts I can be drawing but I like to draw everything in its proper place as it makes mating the assembly easier especially if I pass a drawing off to someone to use for parts they can seperate it and to put back together they just have to mate it by front to front top to top and right to right no guesswhork where it goes back to. this is vert helpful if there 30+ pieces to an assy. this was taught to me 15 yrs ago when i first started this 3D stuff and I have always used it unless I had no choice IE moving parts.
I will Post pics later of the Parts but my Join me is still going if anyone wants to watch and in the join me bar next to the outline of a person on the right is an icon for chat bubble if you have a question

Well so far I got a lot done. I know it doesn't look like much but this thing has a zillion dimensions to sort out. I did get the outside shape even figured out I am so happy. My only Problem is I couldnt find an avenger IPB so trying to find the parts is time consuming. I cannot seem to find the lower part of Station 7 which is the one I am working on. But for now I still need to do the left side tonight and the main Pilots instrument panel. Also man trying to read some dimensions had me mixing me a drink today lol

well got the 3 panels made. still have to find the bracket sheets and a couple other drawings. then try to find out what all the instruments are and find some dimensions to model them up and the faces for them so I will have a finished looking instrument panel.

Well somethings going on today I took a nap come back and my HD is missing dunno what happened but it has all my current drawings on that drive so I need to figure it out

Well got with Jim MacDonald on here and we will be doing a joint project For the Hellcat so I guess once things get going I will just do a new thread on that. I cant seem to find the Lofting tables so been using factory drawing outlines and using them. So tonight I got most of the fuse Lofted I still have to do the short section under the tail feathers where it sucks in some from the rest

Well I got a couple days off and last night went through and got all the former shapes and will tweak my loft then start making my formers and my horizontal formers
I have my new Join me up if you like to pop in

Well just got call from work today they moved me going out of town up by 1 week. so i am trying to get lot done tonight and tomorrow. I got a lot of the fuse finished but the rear sectuin under the tail feathers is giving me fits without having any dimensions for the base formers ((

Well tomorrow i head out of town for work will be gone til fri so I found a new sheet on the microfilm with full view of outlines and they were lot better so tonight I redid the entire loft and outlines.
Also I dont understand the wing incidence really well as it states the wing is set at +3 deg to the thrustline which puts it in a negative incidence to the dataum line by abt .56 deg
and when I do it over the microfilm it basically shows the wing at like pos 1 deg to the datum line

well sorry for slow posts been working out of town for the next 2 months so things slow.
the one thing that happened is while bouncing around a couple dif planes it gave me a break and this weekend I worked on the Wildcat again and things just fell into place and got the fuse lofted to my satisfaction. i dont understand when you have the reels for the plane they never seem to have the fuse lofting ordinates. so though I got it lofted I know it probably isnt exac and thats a problem for me as I want the plane to be full factory specs when finished. However using my model drawing experience I got the tail and the folding wing drawn up model type now to use the info and convert it to proper factory specs

Does anyone watching this thread Sprechen Zie Deutsch?

Here is a screenshot of the Rib Lofting sheet I dont understand the few words on there

I am also assuming it is in MM dims and the commas are the decimal points
