Ok folks any guess to guesses to what this is and what tpye of aircraft it came on?
I don't even know, just looking to see if anyone outhere knows. The only info I have on it is that the donor of this data plate was a B-24 tail gunner with the 739th Bomb Squadron. He acquired the data plate and other items from a Hungarian training field near Szekesfehervar, Hungary, near Lake Balaton during March and April 1945.
