Conrad Huffstuttler in the F4F & Steven Hinton Jr in the F6F Hellcat. Hinton Sr was flying the Constellation. Unsure of the other pilot/aircraft combinations.

Hoping everything is still there tomorrow. The 262 and 51 flyby was really neat.

In-case you didn't happen to catch this afternoon's Warbirds in Review, they mentioned each pilot that flew Lewis' aircraft into the show - Steve Hinton Jr. in the Hellcat, Conrad Huffstutler in the Wildcat, Gordon Richardson flew the Bearcat, and Jay Consalvi flew the Tigercat. I believe all three, Steve Hinton Sr., Stew Dawson and Rod Lewis, took the Constellation.

In addition, Gordon Richardson in the F8F & Jay Consalvi in the F7F.

Berlin Express, DOC, and SBD were spotted regularly overhead Thursday morning providing rides.

Both Berlin Express and DOC stage out of Appleton; SBD out of Fond du Lac.

They're announced at the EAA awards dinner on Saturday night, and many of the recipients will often post on social media when they win. The complete list is usually put out by EAA on Sunday, at the earliest, though some years its taken longer.

There was a stack fire emitting from engine #3 (from extra fuel that had collected in the exhaust), just before takeoff. It was cleared, and the aircraft took off about an hour later, from what I've seen and read. It reminded me of a T-6 I saw one of the last years I was at Oshkosh, which took off with a live stack fire, at which point the tower reported it to the pilot and he came back and landed, which by then the fire had been extinguished.
