Hi Stewart,

I think I've got the engine thing figured out. I get the feeling that the guys in Victoria with the ex-Buffalo PBY let Evergreen borrow their two good engines for the ferry flight with the intent of getting them back when the flight is complete. Talk about great co-operation between warbird groups.

I'm sorry to hear that she won't be a flyer anymore, but she'll clearly be a beautiful static example when you're done with her... and perhaps, one day she'll be a flyer again. You never know. As the rich get richer I'm sure they're going to start scrambling for new and interesting ways to spend their wealth. lol.

By the way, the 44-P-4 scheme will be an excellent way to tell an important part of the Pacific war. I can't wait to her see her with proper blisters and a nose turret.

If anyone's thinking of stealing the turret off of RCAF 11007, just remember it's illegal. lol.

Peace,

David M
