Re photos

It's already happening to some extent - have a look at the New P40 in Australia thread. There is a fairly recent shot of the merlin P40 of Judy Pay there and yes other PICS will follow as soon as we take em'

It is currently blowing like the clappers of hell here right now with freezing rain snow and mixed rain/ice pellets. Somone pour me a large pint of guiness so's I can forget about winter for a bit!

So Peter you need to come to Arizona for the winter just like your peers. We call them snow birds out here. They all say "eh", even the ones from Minnesota and Wisconsin.

A proper Sherlock Homes fog here this morning in Oxfordshire, with viz about - oh - les see - them's my feet? Thinks so... About 6 1/2 foot, or 2 metres or 2 meters depending on where YOU are...

Aha... thought I'd find you lot over here. :) You wouldn't believe how traumatic the last few days have been, I've had to do some work for a change! What happened then, Key forgot to stick 50p in the meter? :lol:

after the last few days I know what it feels like to be a survivor of a ship wreck. A few stragglers keep appearing and I'm glad to see each one.

Good to see you here Andy. On a side note, I was 'working from home' yesterday, so managed to pop out and get some shots of The Aviator pub in daylight. Tried to ask the landlord about the story, but he was in the middle of decorating at the time and seemed to be a bit of a miserable bugger, so I thought I'd better leave it... :? Drop me your email address and I'll post them over when I get home tonight.

Hi Randy.
no, it's a pub in the small Cambridgeshire market town of St Ives. The pub is named 'The Aviator' after an incident in The Great War when a pilot took off from a local meadow after stopping to ask directions and flew into a local church steeple after being dazzled by the sun.

Which picture were you refering too?
