I didn't see it fly, but I did watch the CAF OV-1D(not the Cavanaugh one) taxi away.

Rick Garvis (?) was working on the B-24. And the H-34 was stripped down and being power washed.

So is that CFMs' OV1 or not. I thought it was green. That one looks grey or is it the light?

The photo doesn't do justice to the contrail :(

Arrgh, dunno why I can't make it work as an imbedded image, I give up for now so I'll leave it as a link....its an AA 757 with winglets pulling a pretty contrail at FL380. Not warbird, or even very old, I realize.

edit: Remembered how to post pics!

Cessna 195. I heard the round engine first and took a bit to spot him through the bare trees but I did get enough of a look to i.d. the type. I didn't get a good enough look to read markings but he was heading west from Brenham, Tx. airport at a low alt. I live under the approach so I see and hear a lot of GA traffic. Before I was involved with Wings Over Houston, I'd see an occiasional warbird heading home.

Friday I crossed taxiways in the Citabria with my friend Vic and his wife Cathy in their Harvard.

Always cool! 8)
