Norton AFB is now San Bernadino International Airport and there are no aircraft on display there.

Thanks! Knowing where something isn't, is just as helpful as knowing where something is.

On another subject...
David Talichet's "Proud Bird Restaurant" located at 33 56 07.45 N 118 22 41.66 W has a number of replica airframes displayed. Are any of them real airframes?

Also...
Is there anything aviation wise of interest in Goleta?

Mike

Do you want to find locations of displayed, stored or active aircraft? Then start with the The Locator.
Do you want to find or contribute to the documented history of an aircraft? If so then start with the Airframes Database.

I read a website indicating there was an F-102 on display outside of the terminal. It was moved about 2-3 years ago. I am having trouble finding the website now. I think I am remembering this correctly.

Mike,

All I know is that it was s/n 57-00905 and it has been missing longer than 2 to 3 years as we went looking for it in 1999 during a visit to Calif. and it was not at the Ontario airport.

Thanks Jim. I am still looking for that webpage. I am sure I read something about it being moved.

The California list has been updated. The link is also new...

I think the jets are real, the piston engined aircraft are fiberglass.

Goleta is actually Santa Barbara airport. There used to be a lot of interesting stuff there, but probably nothing of interest now.

I am getting closer to finding the F-102 that was on display at the Ontario Airport. It is s/n 57-905.

The F-102 at the Planes of Fame is 56-1413. Yanks has a F-106.

So in conclusion, the F-102 at the Ontario Airport was not moved to Chino. I am still looking for that web page that indicates where it was moved.

Now that I have the s/n 57-0905, does anyone know where it is?

Mike

And the F-102 at Planes of Fame was returned to the USAF in the past year so it is no longer in Chino.
