I needed to scan some pics this morning and decided to scan some pics from the late 70's & 80's...the years vary.

I am still learning so I don't know what it is, but the second to the last plane I love. Very cool.

Also, what kills me the most is the pose in the 2nd picture, you still stand that way. (Super cute!)

Good to see someone with such a long lasting passion for aviation!

Stephanie - You need to learn more about P-51s

Here is a starter link for what once was Lefty Gardner's P-51 called "Thunderbird".

Thank you for the link! I will definitely check it out tomorrow! I love learning about airplanes... I really liked the shape of the P-51. I appreciate it!

The pilot had, probably, a massive heart attack while flying at Airsho '88.

RIP Marvin.

Shows just how little I know  I knew about the unfortunate crash of the B-26, but I didn't even realise that the CAF had a flyable A-20.

Jase, are you sure about the A-20 accident you refer to? I think I was at that airshow and don't remember any fatal accident, nor one due to that cause. I may be off by a year.

Bil;l, I don't about the year but that was certainly the reason given for the crash.

Stephanie, you have the eye of a true artist. There really are 3 kinds of planes. The coolest are like the one you picked, they are pointed in front, usually have 6 exhaust stacks on each side, sound wonderful, and don't leak oil(maybe a little). Next are the fat ones, round in front, and covered in oil, frequently painted navy. Believe it or not some of these actually fly pretty good, they just sound funny. Last are ones with no props. They smell like a diesel garbage truck and sound worse. Their pilots freqeuntly wear their flight suits in the bar after the show, but believe it or not a lot of these planes even have air conditioning! There are a few other types, hardly worth mentioning, except you can ride on them or fetch parts for the real planes.
