#2 - Unless it was placed on the grounds of the Naval Academy recently, there is not an F4F in the Annapolis area.
Thanks. It was not a newly published source, so I would guess (with confidence) it is an error. Who would display a F4F outside these days?

#3 - All are likely to be at Andrews except the F6F. I'll actually be on the base playing a holiday party at their Officer's Club next week, so I'll keep an eye out for anything.
Thanks! The Locator gives map locations for what I can see is there using Google Earth, so you will be able to see what I know about. If you find anything else plese let me know.

Down at Patuxent NAS, there are a great many aircraft dotting the base as well as the ones for the base museum.
I have these listed under "Patuxent River NAS". Is it safe to assume none of them are accessible to the public?

#5 - Doubtful. I've lived in the area for almost my entire life and never heard of any aircraft of that type in the Marlow Heights area.
That is just the kind of statement I was looking for.

There is an F-105 at Bolling AFB in DC.
I'll try to find it next week.

At one point in time, the local park commission had an F7U Cutlass at Wheaton Regional Park and an FJ-1 Fury at Cabin John Regional Park in Potomac as part of a playground (back when we were allowed to play with REAL items), both were taken out of the park and scapped.
Where is "local" for you? It is worth adding these to my notes, even if they are no longer around.
Thanks!
