Hello again: Here's some more non-Harvard material (it's killing me!) from the album of slides Bill Larkins gave me some years ago. This time, I can give you some dates, but no locations.

Nice shots.

As for the location of the first three, the name 'Reno' on the pylon in the background of all of them is a bit of a givaway!

I don't know the location of the 4th one, possibly Chino?

Dan Martin gave me my first ride in Ridge Runner. I had to buy the gas, $175, and I thought it was a bit expensive, then. I remember how loud it was, how fast compared to auto traffic on the ground, the bubble canopy visibility, and how much better pilot Dan was than some normal civilian instructors. So blame it on Dan, if not for him I'd have probably gone into the ministry, or at least amount to something. Can't believe it has been about a quarter of a century.

The first Mustang is Paul Poberezny/EAA's N3451D 44-75007. The second one is Fort Wayne Air Service's first "Lou IV" N51TK 44-73436.

That would be the second FWAS "Lou IV" 44-63350 currently owned by Chuck Greenhill, right?

Chuck sold LOU IV(44-63350) last summer to a gentlemen in Southern California. I bot it from that gentlemen in December. LOU will stay as LOU IV and will be hangared in SoCal.

Welcome aboard John,
Geez, another one of the "ubiquitous" airplane drivers has joined our merry band.

Mudge the humorist

ps...No offense John. The "ubiquitous" is a semi "inside" reference to another thread about Mustangs and such.
