While at my mom's home in Minnestrista, I saw a P51D with lower fuselage and wing Invasion stripes flying north, just to the west of the Twin Cities.

Can't for the life of me figure out which 51 it would be locally.

This was around 3:30PM Central time.

OK fellow Minnesotans. Any ideas?

The most likely Mustang would be Paul Ehlen's Little Horse, 45-11586(of which I need to send Scott some updated photos). Bill Bruggeman's Short-Fuse Sallee, CA-18 A68-198 also matches the description, but I don't know that it flies much anymore.

Thanks guys. Nothing like a 51 roaring over to make you stop and look. It's been a while since I've seen one local.

25s and T-6s fairly often.
