Very nice.

I don't pay attention like I used to. Is this one Florida-bound?

Does anyone know if that is a genuine FW 190 or is it a kit plane, and which engine does it have? Do they intend to fly it? It might take a brave guy to fly around in those skies! It does look impressive and unique. How many athentic 190 s survive anywhere today?

That is the replica manufactured by Flugwerk and owned by Tom Blair of Florida. It is powered by an ASh-82FN 14-cylinder radial.

Jim H, thanks for the info on the engine. I've never heard of one, don't see too many rebuilt ones down at the local NAPA store.

Ah... National Aviation Parts Association... where the trendy and cheap shop. I get my duct tape at ACE Hardware myself (Aeroplane Construction Enterprises)...

Seriously, that's a sharp looking plane, no matter if it is a replica or not... it's good to see a finished product since we hadn't heard much since the first flight. Any inflight shots with the gear up as of yet? Any idea when it is heading to Kissimmee?

Wow, I hope one pops up in the midwest. I would love to see one flying in person. 190s are beautiful planes.
