My dad has told me for years about a P-40 he used to climb on at the LSU stadium in Baton Rouge.

Anyone know what happened to it?

This is John Fallis's P-40N s/n 42-104959 N49FG formerly having served in the 8th FS 49th Fg in New Guinea. I've seen some photos and yes Chuck is correct.....it will be a beaut!!!

So its the one that used to hang in the USS KIDD museum before they traded for the fibreglass replica, correct?

Whats the paint scheme? Wouldn't that be awesome if the painied it in the original 49th scheme?

Imagine if all gateguards were "glass" and original airframes were flying!

Thanks guys!
