Whatever happened to Tom Voll?

Besides the Morotai stories (and I have only heard a little) didn't Tom Voll also go on some interesting warbird safaris in South America? At one time it was reported he had located some very amazing finds in Argentina.

He brought some Corsairs into the country but what else? How many surviving warbirds can we credit to his efforts? What about the ones we never saw?

Where is he today, or did some cannibals or drug lords somewhere finally get him?

Will a book ever be written?
