OK, got to the point of bashing my head against a brick wall trying to track these down here in the UK. Anyone got any kicking about over your side of the pond? The AN256F10 is a 90 degree floating anchor nut, 10-32 size for an AN3 bolt. We need a dozen or so. I brought what were supposed to be some recently but they turned out to be the fixed non-floating type when they arrived. If anyone knows of any, please shout.

Thanks,

Phil

Looked on ILS (inventory Locating Service) and found that the following UK company (located near Gatwick) is showing some in stock. If this doesn't work, PM me and I will send you the extensive list of US suppliers that show stock on hand.

Thanks for your help on this guys. Much appreciated.

BW, a standard MS21078 won't install. The captive mounts on the inner surfact of a tightly curved leading edge nose rib, so the base of a 21078 is too long to mount on the back of the curve. The AN256 however will mount on the flat lower part of the rib with the much smaller section containing the nut held up against the back of the curved flange with no need to atach the nutplate to the flange itself.

Well, I've cocked-up explaining it as that makes about as much sense to me as ancient Greek, but I know what I mean!

Cheers,

P

Sounds like a speech at the UN .
